Sam Koehn is a self-taught artist from Katy, Texas. Sam loves far West Texas landscapes. Sam layers watercolors in order to create vibrant, acrylic-like coloring. Sam states, "There is an illustrative, whimsy style to my artwork. Color palettes emerge as I am painting. There is no plan other than my subject matter; I tend to paint free spirited."
