Jen is a native Texan who wasn't born in west Texas but got here as soon as she could. In 1995, she moved to Terlingua from the Dallas area to embrace the rugged beauty of the Big Bend landscapes and the unmatched darkness of the night sky. Her favorite subjects to photograph are the starry sky and lightning storms, but she never passes up an opportunity to snap a stunning desert scene or a chance sighting of wildlife. She has shown her work at local galleries including the Galleria Chisos, Earth and Fire Gallery in Terlingua, and Gallery on the Square in Alpine. Jen's work was also displayed at the Bob Bullock Museum as part of the "Texas Through Your Lens" photography project. She volunteers at Big Bend Ranch State Park as a Dark Sky Steward photographing the night sky in various locations throughout the Big Bend. Jen lives the good life in Terlingua with her husband Romaldo and their two dogs.
